Looking for a thumb rest for your Canik without having to mount a bulky part on the rail? Then the foldable Thumb Rest "Grip Control" from US manufacturer BlackSteel is the perfect upgrade for your Canik pistol!
The patented, foldable thumb rest simply replaces the original disassembly lever and provides an ergonomic rest for the thumb of the supporting hand. Resting the thumb on this rest significantly improves ergonomics and enables faster, more precise shot sequences!
The great advantage of Grip Control thumb rests is that they can be replaced without any modifications. Disassemble the pistol, replace the disassembly lever, and you're done! These thumb rests are also foldable, which also allows for the reuse of holsters ( depending on the design/model, with necessary adjustments ).
Crafted from a high-quality metal alloy of steel, aluminum, zinc, and manganese. This blend, developed by BlackSteel, offers very high strength, exceptional hardness, and outstanding abrasion and corrosion resistance. The robust alloy ensures that the thumb rest retains its shape even under intensive use and does not react with other metals.
Different sizes (#1, #2 and #3), colors and left-hand versions are available.
Sizes #1, #2, and #3 differ in length, or rather, the distance to the front and back from the shooter's perspective. The most common version and the one that fits most shooters is size #2!
Compatible with the following Canik (Full Size!) models:
- Mete (polymer frame)
- Rival (polymer frame)
- TTI (polymer frame)
For information:
- The right-hand version is for right-handed people (= thumb rest mounted on the left side of the pistol).
