Recoil-damping locking spring from DPM for Walther PDP
This DPM recoil spring is designed to use 3 specially designed springs for damping.
The third spring, integrated in the spring guide rod, creates additional counterpressure shortly before the bolt hits/in the locking block, which slows the bolt down.
This is clearly noticeable after installation, even when empty and manually reloading the pistol.
The DPM system offers the following advantages:
Increase in the service life of the weapon or reduce wear due to lower load
Reduction of recoil
General improvement of repetition behavior and thus avoidance of feeding problems
Better control of the pistol and thus faster firing sequences
When using a red dot sight, the service life is increased as it is also subjected to less stress
