The "Equalizer" compensator for 9mm PCC is a specially developed muzzle device with three exclusively upward-facing gas ports .This targeted, concentrated gas deflection reduces the upward recoil through the resulting downward counterforce more effectively than side ports – especially given the comparatively low gas pressure of 9mm PCC systems .
By eliminating side vents in this caliber range, a potentially superfluous effect is eliminated. Instead, the gas energy is precisely directed upwards, resulting in significantly lower recoil . This is a decisive advantage, especially in rapid bursts and dynamic disciplines like IPSC .
For maintenance, the Equalizer includes three specially designed " scrapers" – tools that fit precisely into the gas ports. It is recommended to clean the chambers with these after each training session or at the latest after approximately 500 shots.
